CREATION & BRAND SPECIALIST | FLOWAIR

At FLOWAIR, I worked at the intersection of brand, product design, UX and innovation, helping translate complex HVAC technologies into clear, engaging and commercially relevant experiences. My role combined strategic thinking with hands-on design — from developing the brand and visual communication system to shaping digital products, interfaces and product launches.

I collaborated closely with product, engineering, marketing and business teams to turn technical requirements into intuitive solutions and compelling narratives. My work included brand development, UX / Product design, product communication, digital experiences, marketing materials and creative direction, ensuring consistency across physical and digital touchpoints.

Working in a technology-driven manufacturing environment also gave me a strong understanding of how design, engineering and business strategy need to work together to create products that are both technically advanced and easy to understand. The role taught me to operate comfortably between strategy and execution — understanding complex technical systems, identifying opportunities, shaping concepts and turning them into coherent products, brands and experiences.

BRAND RECOGNITION

One of my key responsibilities at FLOWAIR was building and strengthening the brand image across the Polish and international markets, translating the company’s expertise, culture and competitive advantages into a distinctive and credible brand narrative. I worked on image-building initiatives, creative concepts and communication materials designed to position FLOWAIR as an industry leader backed by strong technical expertise and an exceptional team of specialists.

One of the key concepts I developed was built around the motto “Make the Difference” — highlighting the idea that it is the people behind the technology who truly make the difference. The concept showcased FLOWAIR’s expertise, professional capabilities and the specialists behind every successful project, shifting the focus from products alone to the people, knowledge and passion that make them possible.

As part of the concept, I developed a storytelling direction presenting employees through both their professional expertise and personal passions, which resulted, among other things, in a company calendar featuring their individual stories. The calendar quickly became a distinctive brand asset, gaining significant popularity across the industry and among FLOWAIR’s customers and business partners. Its appeal went beyond a traditional corporate giveaway — customers and partners began actively requesting and ordering copies themselves, demonstrating strong engagement with the brand and the story behind it.

BRAND PRESENCE

I shaped FLOWAIR’s presence across industry events, media and professional touchpoints, developing presentation concepts, storytelling and visual narratives that strengthened the brand’s position and recognition within the HVAC market.

I worked closely with presenters and subject-matter experts to structure content, refine key messages and translate complex technical topics into engaging, persuasive presentations. This work extended to planning photo and video productions, organising professional shoots and film sets, and developing media campaigns to ensure the brand remained consistently visible wherever our customers and industry professionals were.

Beyond events and campaigns, I developed training and educational materials for sales teams, engineers, HVAC system designers and customers, including presentation decks, instructional content and professionally produced video recordings. Together, these activities created a consistent and recognisable brand presence — strengthening FLOWAIR’s credibility, supporting the sales process and positioning the company as a knowledge-driven industry leader.

VISUAL COMMUNICATION

From the beginning of my collaboration with FLOWAIR, I was responsible for visual communication and brand aesthetics, ensuring that every customer-facing touchpoint met a consistently high standard of quality, clarity and professionalism. I co-developed a new visual identity system together with a three-person design team, taking the leading role in shaping its visual direction and final execution.

The new identity was designed to strengthen FLOWAIR’s position as a mature, established and internationally recognised industry leader. Built around minimalism, consistency and a restrained colour palette, the system brought greater clarity and coherence to the brand while reflecting the precision and technical character of the HVAC industry.

Rather than following the often visually overloaded aesthetic of technical and industrial brands, we introduced a more refined, structured and confident visual language. Typography, colour, imagery, layouts and graphic elements were developed as a coherent system, creating a recognisable brand experience across both internal and external communication.

The result was a visual identity that balanced industrial strength with subtle elegance, communicating quality, precision and expertise while reinforcing the trust and credibility FLOWAIR had built over more than 20 years in the market. I was responsible for translating this direction into day-to-day communication — from marketing and sales materials to digital assets, presentations and other brand touchpoints — ensuring that the brand remained consistent and recognisable wherever customers encountered it.

Art in the FLOWAIR Space

Since 2023, I have led “Art in the FLOWAIR Space”, an internal cultural initiative bringing contemporary art and creative experiences into the company’s everyday environment and culture. The project was based on the belief that art can challenge established perspectives, anticipate emerging ideas and create space for reflection — encouraging people to look beyond their immediate routines and approach their work and surroundings from new perspectives.

The initiative grew naturally from FLOWAIR’s long-standing relationship with industrial design and innovation. Just as design had influenced the way the company approached its products and opened the organisation to new perspectives, contemporary art became a way to further foster curiosity, awareness and creative thinking within the company. I was responsible for developing and coordinating the initiative. The programme evolved beyond permanent displays to include cultural events such as a vernissage featuring acclaimed photographer Kacper Kowalski, a live concert and an intimate “Evening with the Artist”, creating opportunities for employees and guests to engage directly with artists and their work. The goal was not simply to decorate the workplace, but to create an environment that encourages dialogue, reflection and openness to different perspectives. By bringing contemporary art, photography, music and artists into a technology-driven organisation, the initiative connected culture, creativity and innovation, reinforcing the idea that meaningful innovation also comes from the ability to question, observe and see possibilities that others may overlook.

A JOURNEY OF GROWTH

Those past 7 intense years at FLOWAIR gave me the opportunity to grow across disciplines and gain broad experience at the intersection of design, technology, business and communication. Working within a flat, teal organisational structure taught me to take ownership, adapt quickly and work effectively across different areas of the business. It showed me the importance of strong design processes and interdisciplinary collaboration in turning complex challenges into meaningful solutions. Most importantly, it shaped my ability to connect strategy, creativity and execution.
